Pam is the newest member of the PREP Team, serving in the role of Local Coordinator.
She will be reaching out to the community to recruit host families. She will provide families and students with training, support and encouragement. It is her desire to be an equipping influence in the lives of the students both spiritually and academically as opportunities allow.
“My life verse is 1 Co. 15:58 – Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain.”
Pam’s professional career spans 30 years. Her degree and area of expertise is in piano performance, private piano instruction and professional accompanying. She has performed with soloists and ensembles in diverse areas including opera, musical theater, ballet, solo recitals and recently worked with a principal tenor with the Metropolitan Opera Company. She has also collaborated on several recording projects and has arranged / composed several original works. Most recently, she served as a staff accompanist for the University of Central Arkansas.
Pam and her husband Andy have been married for 28 years and have 3 daughters, 2 sons-in law and are awaiting the arrival of their first grandson. Andy has a doctorate in theology and is the Pastor of Discipleship at Harvest Bible Chapel Austin. Pam and Andy love the church, ministry and its people. Together they have done discipleship / counseling for over 25 years. Pam’s experience as a music teacher and participation in full-time ministry with her husband has given her strengths that will be a beneficial addition to the PRRP program.
