More information about PREP and our winter camp:

Premier Education Partners (PREP) is a Christian-based organization in Austin that provides residential and academic placement for international students wishing to study in America. Each year PREP hosts a “Winter Camp” for two weeks where prospective students from China can come to Austin to experience American culture, our education system and Christian family life.

This year, our Winter Camp will be hosted by Brentwood Christian School. The Winter Camp will close with a dinner and celebration of Chinese New Year’s on Saturday January 28th from 6:00 – 9:00 pm. This is an outstanding opportunity to learn more about our program, experience being a Host Family on a short-term basis, or simply enjoy a cultural event.

Homestay is the residential cornerstone of our program. A Host Family is matched to a student and the student resides with the Host Family for the academic year (or longer if mutually agreed to). PREP provides a generous monthly stipend to Host Families as well as the potential for an annual bonus. The Host Family provides room & board for the students, transportation to and from school, and a loving Christian home environment. Our goal is to have the students feel like “part of a family – not just part of a program”. We are looking for Host Families for the Fall 2017 Academic year. We will have an informational meeting for prospective Host Families from 5:30 – 6:00 pm on Saturday January 28th, 2017 at Brentwood Christian School in the Chapel.

Partner Schools are the academic cornerstone of our program. We partner with and have students attending top private Christian schools in Texas. In Austin, our Partner Schools include: Concordia High School, Hill Country Christian School, Hyde Park High School, Redeemer Lutheran School, Regents School of Austin, Round Rock Christian Academy, Summit Christian Academy, and our newest partner school – Brentwood Christian School.

Winter Camp Hosting is an opportunity for a family to host a student on a short-term basis from Jan 15 through Jan 28, 2017. As a Winter Camp Host Family, you will be responsible for room & board of a student as well as transportation (predominantly to and from Brentwood Christian School on a daily basis). Winter Camp Hosts will receive a $400 stipend to offset expenses you incur. If you are interested in being a Winter Camp Host Family, please indicate so on your event RSVP, or contact Pam Snider at 661-755-8668. This is an excellent opportunity to experience hosting an international student prior to deciding to become a full-time Host Family.
